THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST
(CHAPTER 3)
During the Millennial Reign, many things are going to happen. All the “Goat Nations” will be removed and await judgment before everything gets started and the unsaved Sheep Nations will be able to go into and live during the Millennial Reign. The Goat Nations are those that were against Israel and the Sheep Nations are the ones that befriended Israel and helped them. After the Judgements of the Book of Revelation are over, than any people left over and unsaved will enter into the Millennial Reign as they are with their fleshly bodies and they will live for 1,000 years without dying. All saved Christians will enter the Millennial Reign and be translated into their new eternal bodies and will shed their old fleshly bodies. This means that Christians will live in the city (New Jerusalem) with Jesus Christ and some will even be rulers over the nations and teach the nations about God.
Revelation 21:24
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
There will be no wars, no weapons and Satan will be bound up with a chain for a 1,000 years:
Revelation 20:1
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Certain chosen Christians will have an opportunity for advancement and promotion during the Millennial Reign and will be tested. These chosen Christians will have the opportunity to rule the nations or to teach the people about God and if they do it righteously and without sin, they will be moved up in their rank.
Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
What this means, is that you as a Christian during this time will have a glorified body which can go through walls, can supersede the powers of natural law and these earthly people will see Christians as Gods. The power of the “test” is temptation! Tempted to take Glory as a God and if a Christian in this position does not succumb to this temptation and overcomes, they will be promoted. As you can see, it is not unlike what we are rewarded for now as Christians when we overcome temptation in our flesh, however, this will be a higher form of testing. If a Christian fails this test, they will not lose their Salvation but will go back to their previous position without reward or promotion. We see in this scripture how glorious a Christian becomes in their glorified body and what happens when a man in this earthly body is faced with how glorious we will be in our new bodies:
Revelation 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
The glory of this “fellowservant” was so powerful that the Apostle John, who had walked with Jesus Christ personally, who had done exploits, miracles, who had overcame death and who had personally seen Heaven, still succumbed to the “Glory of his fellow servant” and fell on his feet to worship him! Does that tell you how powerful that glory was and what earthly people will do if they are not instructed to not worship us in the Millennial Reign!
Let me tell you of something further that will baffle you and this is what happens at the end of the Millennial Reign. All the people on Earth that haven’t died for 1,000 years during the Millennial Reign, who have seen the New Jerusalem hovering above the Earth and the Sons of God (Christians) in their glorified bodies ruling and teaching and whom have seen Jesus Christ as King of the Earth reigning over them. After all this, with Jesus Christ as their King in all his Glory being the “Light of the World” (St. John 8:12), these people still decide to follow satan. You may be startled by what I am saying but bear with me for a moment in order to tell you that Salvation is not being offered at this time, only the Knowledge of God and Obedience to Jesus Christ as King (Son of Man).
Revelation 20:7-9
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Let’s take a look at satan being loosed at the end of the Millennial Reign because God is doing a culling of the people like Moses did with Israel:
Culling defined -select from a large quantity; obtain from a variety of sources
Exodus 32:26
Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
It will come down to this, get on the side of the Lord or get on the side of satan and be burned and exterminated by fire (Rev 20:9). Satan gathered an army of people as many as the sand of the seashore, however, notice the distinction and separation of the people that exist during the Millennial Reign. It separates two categories of people, one set of people that are following satan and the other category of people that are distinctly called “Saints” and the “Beloved City” (New Jerusalem). This means that these people that follow satan are not of God and are not in the same category as “Saved People” (Saints are Christians). God is using satan to do a final separation of people that are not of God nor for God and they still have rebellion and sin in their hearts. Another thing that may blow your mind is “what is satan telling these people” that are unsaved and living in the Millennial Reign? It is unknown what satan is preaching, however, it is so powerfully convincing that his words absolutely convince the people dwelling on the Earth to overlook all that they know and see in order to mount an attack on God’s people and his City? Very astoundingly foolish on their part but either way, they lose and God and his people have the victory.
Notice in Rev 20:9 that God the Father sent fire down from Heaven to defend the Saints and the New Jerusalem and this fire devoured all those in rebellion with satan. Also notice that Jesus Christ didn’t send the fire from the New Jerusalem but it came from “Heaven” where God the Father is? This means that Jesus Christ was truly acting in the position as the “Son of Man” while ruling as a King on Earth and was totally in submission and in reliance to the Father until he was completely finished with his time as “Son of Man”!
John 5:27
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
After this event, satan is cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone (Rev 20:10) and the Millennial Reign ends. Immediately afterwards “The Great White Throne Judgment” begins where Jesus Christ will execute judgement and than be “Inaugurated as a God”.
Revelation 20:11-12
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
