WHAT IS MY VALUE
Understanding God's Perspective
We as Christians hear so much about how valuable we are to God and the truth is, we were so valuable to God that he gave his only son, Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for us. So, how do we comprehend such a value? Some Christians will never comprehend it totally, however, we received Salvation as a gift that we had no ability to pay for or work for which is exactly why it was called a “gift” because we did nothing for it other than accepting it.
Romans 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Titus 3:5
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
By this scripture we accept Salvation and are given a promise of Eternal Life with God forever which is the greatest gift to mankind that ever existed. However, this is not the “value” that I am speaking about in this book.
What is your value to God once you are saved? Well, you are now part of the family of God but there are ranks and ranks of saved Christians going about their daily lives with a promise of Salvation but are contributing little to God or to the Kingdom of God. They are building their lives here on earth trying to get ahead and working the world’s system of economics, business and government with determination. Some Christians are going to Church and some are not, some believe the Bible entirely, some believe only a portion. Christians, as well as unsaved people are dying before their time and no one has answers to this fact. Some Christians are confused or are mad at God or are mad at the World or they just accept their fate as they leave this world for the final time.
What I am describing to you is a Christian’s life given to his or her own pursuit of happiness and success in the world while putting God on the sidelines or using God like a spare tire in times of trouble and than putting him back into the box of what they believe him only to be. A lot of Christians today seem to have their own belief system of who they believe God to be and than find a preacher, or an author of a book that feeds them in this Philosophy or feeds them in what they want to hear:
2 Timothy 4:3
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
What happened to reading the Bible and finding out who God really is and what God expects of us and not what we expect from him? A lot of the teaching of Christians today is what God is going to do for you and what bigger, better deal you can obtain from God just by asking:
Acts 28:27
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
I am here to tell you that Christians have to get their own value before God through the knowledge of God and of Faith and not try to live off a value they believe exists between them and God beyond the gift of Salvation. Your value as a saved Christian only goes as far as your gift of Salvation but if you want anything else from God, you have to work for it.
Your Salvation was free and it is a gift to you which you did not and cannot work for! This book is taking you beyond Salvation into the realm of the inner workings of the Kingdom of God and what you must do in order to obtain a greater value before God. First thing, is now that you are saved, it’s time to move forward and this means you need instruction whereby God has given us his Holy Word and Governors and Tutors to instruct you (Gal 4:2). Here is a portion of the truth that nobody hears preached in the Church anymore:
Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.
In order to have a greater value in God, you have to obtain knowledge from God which brings Faith and therefore without knowledge, you have little Faith and little Value. This is a harsh reality of truth but God is not playing around, he has grace and mercy for a time in every situation, however, God said my spirit shall not always strive with man (Gen 6:3) and than what happens?
Psalms 73:27
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish:
thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
John 15:6
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
God is merciful and gives grace but even God states that he has a limit and expects a Christian to do what he has instructed them to do or face the repercussions. This is where Christians tend to error and they think that they have such a high value in God, that the warnings don’t pertain to them.
- My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
- If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. (Jn 15:6)
- For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Tim 4:3) Which means they are not abiding in God any longer and are cast into the fire and burned.
- For the heart of this people is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing and their eyes have they closed lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (Acts 28:27) This means a Christian purposely rejects being converted and God will not heal them without conversion to the deeper levels of the Word of God.
- Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal. 5:19-21) Christians that do any of these things and are still expecting to receive the blessings of God by being placed into the Kingdom of God are sorely mistaken.
All these scriptures are not talking about the unsaved people in the World but are talking directly to Christians that are saved and possess the gift of Salvation and are loved of God. So, if Christians cannot violate the law of their respective countries that they live in without being punished for it than how can they expect that they have some unseen value before God that makes them exempt from his rules, laws and commandments? Isn’t that absurd to think that as Christians, we are exempt from God’s rules or that the rules of God don’t apply to us for some reason or we can pick and choose what we want to obey of God’s Word and still have no punishment. Even further, Christians than have the audacity to believe that if they don’t obey what God has instructed them to do, they can still expect to get the reward from the exact promises of God that they choose not to follow.
Let’s use some examples of God telling us as Christians to do something and if we obey than he gives us the reward for obedience:
Malachi 3:8
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me.
But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
God’s Word states that he was robbed because they did not pay Tithes and Offerings. God himself states within this scripture that a curse goes with not obeying what he has told us to do. Christians are complaining of being in poverty and broke but expect God to move for them and make them rich without doing what he told them to do in the first place. So if we rob God by not paying our Tithes and Offerings than can we expect to have the blessing that is described on the next page:
Malachi 3:10
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,
that there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
We obey the Word of God and then we receive the multitude of blessings that are described in this scripture, however, there are Christians that expect these blessings without lifting a finger to obey!
Isaiah 1:19
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
Let’s look at another scripture:
Acts 28:27
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
This scripture is not talking to some ungodly people in a foreign land but is speaking about Christians around the world that reject the Word and Truth of God being presented to them. These Christians are rejecting the Truth and refuse to see it and therefore God is saying to them since you won’t be converted to my Truth then I refuse to heal you. This is not about rejecting Salvation but rejecting deeper revelation of the Word of God.
I thought that God valued me for who I am and if I just don’t feel like knowing about God’s Word other than Salvation then I will be fine and I will be blessed greatly! The Word of God states several things about this laziness towards learning the knowledge of the Word of God:
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
This scripture states that if you study the Word of God, several blessings come out of it:
- You will be approved unto God.
Definition of Approved - officially agree to or accept as satisfactory: believe that someone or something is good or acceptable.
2. You will not be ashamed.
Definition of Ashamed - embarrassed or guilty because of one's actions.
3. You will be rightly dividing the word of truth.
Definition of Rightly - correctly.
This means you will be coming to God with some value because by studying the Word of God you will obtain more Knowledge and Faith which both of these are very, very important.
(Heb 11:6) states that “it is impossible to please God without Faith”!
Definition of Impossible - not able to occur, exist, or be done.
This is one powerful scripture that impacts every Christian in this world and it means that without Faith, you are not able to please God, it cannot be done. You do not get Faith without knowledge and knowledge brings a greater anointing and an anointing destroys the yoke.
Isaiah 10:27
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Why do you want to obtain knowledge, faith, and anointing? It is because the Word of God tells you that in order to have a relationship with God above just having Salvation, you will need these in order to be kept from destruction, in order to please God and in order to destroy the yoke of bondage on you. Most Christians would tell you they are free because Jesus Christ freed them from sin and saved them which is absolutely true, however, why does this scripture exist:
Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
The Word of God states my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge for a specific reason and if you don’t know how to rebuke the Devil, he is going to steal, kill and destroy as this scripture says:
John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Your enemies abound when you get saved and become a Christian and Jesus spoke this scripture for a reason. Why would he mention an enemy that would steal from you or try to destroy you or even try to kill you if there was no reason to know this? I tell you that as soon as you became a Christian, you became the enemy of Satan and his kingdom, you became the enemy of the World and if they hated Jesus Christ, they will hate you. Pretty intense to realize that you have all these enemies and they want to destroy you, to kill you and to steal from you. Furthermore, every Christian reading this book should be ripping the pages of their Bible open to find out what power and knowledge God gave his people to overcome their enemies because every second you don’t know this knowledge, is exactly the time you are exposed and vulnerable.
If I can say anything to the Christians reading this book, is that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8) If God said that he would not bless you if you didn’t pay your Tithes, if God said that if you did not abide in him he would cast you into the fire to be burned, if God said that if you lacked knowledge you could be destroyed than why are Christians standing around gazing, dumbfounded and not paying attention? (Acts 1:11)
Christian teaching has become so watered down that Christians are being told that God is soft and he is such a pushover that they can do it their way and they automatically win a lottery of blessings from God.
Galatians 1:6
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
I am not telling you that God does not love you and I am not telling you that you are not saved through Christ Jesus. But what I am saying is this; when Christians that are in the limelight of T.V. and Radio are saying that they lost their Faith and they can’t believe in God anymore because so many innocent people are dying in this world then we have a problem in what is being preached?
Unsaved people have no protection from God as they are not his but are under the jurisdiction of the god of this World which is Satan (2 Cor 4:4 ). If you are not serving the only true and living God than you are serving someone else and God is not responsible for you. Any person that has a problem with that needs to take it up with Satan and not with God Almighty.
Why doesn’t God take care of everyone and help everyone if he is God? Because his promises are not to the unsaved but to the Christians. Furthermore, he did take care of everyone, even the unsaved people by giving us his only begotten son to die for us and paid the price to redeem us. How much more should God give? Every man and woman walking this earth has the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior and if they choose not to accept Jesus then they are subject to other gods and also subject to those god’s “will” upon man.
Romans 4:21
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
This scripture means we Christians have to believe that all the great and mighty things God has promised he will do for us, however, on the other side of this, every Christian has to believe that God will also do what he promised against those Christians that do not obey him. This is the hardest thing for Christians today to swallow and to believe which then becomes their downfall.
If you even care of what I am teaching about in this book than please read ( Acts 5; 1-11) as you won’t hear it being taught because it scares Christians out of their socks. I am here to encourage you and to implore you to get some more value before God which can only be increased by the Knowledge of God.
What is your value before God other than holding your gift of Salvation under your arm while standing before God to give an account of your life’s progress up to this point. Some Christians may say: Well, God, I go to Church when I can, I am a good person, I put my kids into a Christian school, I am nice to people I meet, I pray every night, I bought several books on prosperity from Christian authors on T.V. who tell me I can skip over every law in the Bible and go directly to being one of the richest people in the world, etc.
This is not the value God is looking for!
Luke 12:20
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Let me repeat again for you, “This is not the value that God is looking for”!
According to (Acts 28:27) God is saying the people’s hearts are waxed gross, their ears are dull of hearing and they have closed their eyes. This means that Christians are hardening their hearts towards the real truth of God and they have stopped listening and closed their eyes because they don’t want to hear that sin is still sin, men are still men and woman are still woman. They don’t want to hear that God will actually speak to a man and that the Gifts of the Spirit still exist.
1 Corinthians 3:19
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
Value before God is not having a college education or a high I.Q. but it is a working knowledge of the Revelation of Jesus Christ and having all things that pertain to life and godliness.
2 Peter 1:2-4
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Now, this scripture talks about what is value before the only true and living God and what does verse 3 state? There is that word “Knowledge” again and notice what it says; “through Knowledge” which means it can only be done by knowledge because knowledge is an entrance ministered. But please take notice of the powerful language spoken in this scripture?
I thank God for my Salvation and your Salvation, however, I have to direct your attention away from Salvation in order for you to look closely at the language that God is speaking to us. Notice in 2 Peter 1 when it tells us that God has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, however, he doesn’t say that we obtain it just by the plain fact that we are Saved.
No, according to God’s divine power he hath only given us all things that pertain specifically unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. So, do you right now in your walk with God possess all things that pertain unto life and godliness? If you don’t have the knowledge to access all things than no, you do not possess this unless you obtain it through knowledge. Where do you find this knowledge? It is found by studying to show yourself approved that you not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of God which in turn is revealed to you by “Revelation” and by the Holy Spirit. How much value before God would you have if you possessed all things that pertain unto life and godliness? This would mean that God invested in you and when God has an investment in someone, he will watch over them and keep them in order for them to perform his word and partake of the divine nature of God.
What is the Divine Nature of God?
Consider a man that does not walk with man’s attributes and attitude but walks with the attributes of the living God. This man is able to make decisions with the “Mind of Christ” (Phil 2:5) and being “Perfect even as his Father in Heaven is Perfect” (Matt 5:48). A man with the Divine Nature of God finds himself to be an equal with God, not being the only true and living God but being a Son of God and born of God.
Philippians 2:6
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
You may say that this is strong thinking and bold words, however, go deeper in your thinking and read that “according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness”! Why did he give us all things that pertain unto godliness? This by definition means that a man given this godliness is “Godly”, so what does it mean to be Godly? It means to be like God! So, if you imitate God, is it just as the world says that when you imitate someone, it is a form of flattery? No, what it means is if you are given a “Mind of God” and the scriptures said that we are “Born of God” than we are the “Sons of God” and we must take careful notice of all this.
This is all pointing to us being of such value once we reach a higher level of knowledge that God is replicating himself in us.
If you as a Christian have no knowledge of making Godly decisions and no knowledge on how to walk in Godly righteousness than your value before God is limited to being a saved Christian waiting around and gazing. Why would God want to give you his divine nature? Just so you could stand around the water cooler at your job and dream of having a big house and a nice car?
Is that really what God saved you for? He gave you the opportunity to think like him and to be perfect like him or else the scriptures would not of said so.
Notice verse 3 (Peter 1:3) which says hath called us to “Glory”!
Is the height of your “Glory” paying off your house mortgage, raising a family, owning a business and going to Church two times a week. This is obtaining success but it is not Glory.
However, Christians believe it’s blasphemy to take the glory from God. You couldn’t take the Glory from God if you tried, Satan couldn’t do it so what makes you think that you can? Didn’t Jesus say it in this scripture:
John 17:22
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
You mean even Jesus himself said that the Glory which God the Father gave him, he turned around and gave it to us? You better believe it and do you still believe the height of our “Glory” is going to Sunday school and taking a nice Caribbean vacation?
Or is our Glory becoming what God called us to be with his “Divine Nature” and with his “Glory”,
‘Virtue” and “Godliness” through THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD. Hidden within the scriptures is the knowledge that even the Angels desire to look into
1 Peter 1:12
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Even the Angels desire what we have and most Christians pass it by like it was nothing and look towards a higher earthly education to get ahead.
There is nothing wrong with being successful in this life, God said that you have to provide for your family and he will bless you in doing so. However, you must balance this with a hunger towards the knowledge of God and towards your Godly education to become what he destined you to be and this will give you great value in God.
We as Christians always look at this scripture and automatically jump to the conclusion that we get to avoid problems and go someplace far away from our them:
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
However, lets be honest, unless you are able to avoid a problem than you are going to face your problem or face your enemies and the teaching of most Churches today is that God is going to take care of it as you sit and watch. What problem or enemy did Jesus face during his 33 1/2 years on Earth that he just sat down and let God the Father take care of it? Every time that we read of Jesus, it is of him being the problem solver or having the answer or having to do it for the disciples. Jesus cast out devils, healed the sick, opened the blind eyes and raised the dead and Christians would say that he was the Son of God and had the power to do that but we don’t.
I would look you square in the eye and tell you that if you believe that than you are dead wrong! What are you going to do with this scripture:
John 14:12
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
What are Christians doing with this scripture? Trying to hide it or are trying to hide from it but either way, we have to face that God is telling us that he has given us the power to become of greater value in him. Through his knowledge we obtain all things that pertain unto life and godliness and become partakers of his Divine Nature. If you didn’t realize that the word “ALL” is a measurement and “ALL” means absolutely everything is given to us, not just a small portion, not just a half of a portion but everything. However, you cannot do any of this unless you go through the knowledge of God which you as an individual Christian must obtain by “studying to shew yourself approved”.
The point of all this is to help you as a Christian make a choice! Are you going to face this world as just a sinner saved by Grace, barely scraping by mentally or spiritually without any more knowledge and value than that of a sheep. Or are you going to face this world as a Son of the Most High and Living God through his knowledge and become more than conquerors!
Romans 8:37
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
As for me, I am going to face my problems with the knowledge of God and look my enemies square in the eye and tell them that I am a holder of the Covenants of God, that I was born to possess the gate of my enemies (Gen 22:17), that I am a possessor of Heaven and Earth (Gen 14:19). If I need help, God will send help but otherwise, I am going to stand toe to toe, eye to eye with my problems or enemies and know that through the Knowledge of God, he hath given me all things that pertain unto life and godliness and he has called me and you to glory and virtue! I will speak the Word of God like Jesus did when he was tempted of Satan and Jesus said to him “Get thee behind me Satan, for it is Written”! (Luke 4:8)
What are the rewards of gathering knowledge of God and knowing the 7 levels of the Bible and The Revelation of Jesus Christ (Rev 1:1)? The rewards are great fellow Christians:
Rewards Obtained
- You obtain anointing from gaining God’s Knowledge. (Luke 2:52)
- You gain understanding of God’s plan after Salvation. (Heb 6: 5)
- You are able to do exploits that otherwise you wouldn’t be able to do. (St. John 14:12)
- You increase your value with God above just Salvation. (1 Sam 2:3)
- You obtain rewards both in this life and the life to come. (Luke 18:30, Deut 32:46-48, Mark 10:30)
Christians are big into saving for retirement and what they consider to be their future retirement on earth, however, many Christians give very little thought to their future in Eternity. A Christian has an ability and a right to build up rewards or to store up treasures for their Eternity.
Matthew 6:20
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
To understand that laying up treasures in heaven is not getting a college education, it is not raising a family, it is not being nice to people, it is not because you are a good person, it is not because you are eco-friendly. It is doing the will of God and being obedient to what he told you to do in his Word.
In order to store up treasures in heaven, we have to obey and here is what every Christian must do:
- Accept Jesus Christ. (Rom 10:9-10)
- Abide in God. (St. John 15:6)
- Study and shew yourself approved. (2 Tim 2:15)
- Stop sinning. (Gal 5:16-21)
- Christians, love one another. (St John 13:34)
- Pay your Tithes and Offerings, spiritually, financially. (Malachi 3: 8-12)
- Submit yourselves to a Ministry that God has placed you under. (Heb 13:17)
- Forsake not the gathering of yourselves. (Heb 10:25, Psalm 133:1-2)
- Obtain your Land, Deeds and Rights. (Gen 17:1-8, Jer 32:11-15)
- Learn your rights in God and the Power of Attorney of the name of Jesus. (St. John 14:13-14)
- Be obedient (Isa 1:19)
If you are a saved Christian, than understand that Salvation gets you in the door but it doesn’t give you access to everything in the Kingdom of God. First of all, Salvation is a promise to you as a believer, that your name is written in the Book of Life. This means at the Great White Throne Judgement (Rev 20-11-15), when the angels look, they will find your name written in the Book and you will then be given Eternal Life. If your name is not found in the Book than you are cast into the Lake of Fire for eternity which is called the Second Death.
So, if you are saved than you have a choice to make! Stand around gazing and wait for the end of your life and hope it is a long and good life and enter eternity with your white robe and your gift of Salvation with little rewards. Or you can die in Christ now and choose to serve God in this life daily.
1 Corinthians 15:31
31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
To die daily means I choose to actually put God first in everything in my life and to put aside all those things in my life that would take all my thoughts and time. To actually study God’s Word daily, to obey it and to subject myself to a seasoned minister of God under their ministry that God has placed me with so I can learn. This does not mean me placing myself under a Ministry where I want to be or think I should be but a ministry where the Holy Spirit places me. The Holy Spirit does this according to the Calling he has placed on your life or according to the Talents he wants to use within the Kingdom of God and to educate you in the Knowledge of God.
Galatians 4:1
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Every Christian needs an education in God and that means seasoned ministers of God that are Holy Ghost filled and called of God to teach every Christian that would listen so that they would be able to obtain more value before God and to reap the rewards of it both in this life and the life to come. Just because you are saved does not mean that you are automatically placed into the Kingdom of God. I am not saying that you are not saved, what I am saying is what Jesus said to his disciples:
Matthew 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
What are all these things that shall be added unto you? These things are your Treasures stored up in heaven, these are your Rewards both in this life and the life to come. These are the increase of your Value before God, these are your Favor before God, these are Gifts of the Spirit given to you and these are the receiving of the promises of God by your Labor.
God is not taking your life away when the scripture says you die daily but it means obedience to Christ Jesus and to put God first in all things. God doesn’t expect you to neglect your family, he wants you to take care of your family. There is nothing wrong with getting a better job or learning a new trade to support your family. There is nothing wrong with vacations or enjoying things that you like to do in this life but don’t let them overtake your life where you neglect spending time with God or going to Church or letting the dust settle on the top of your Bible.
Don’t pile papers and books on top of your Bible as this is disrespectful to God’s Word but become instant in season and out of season (2 Tim 4:2) with the Word of God and be ready to give an answer to the unsaved!
Pray for an appetite for the deeper revelation of the Word of God and read your Bible cover to cover and than start over because you will never run out of God’s knowledge on this earth.
I encourage you with the love of Jesus Christ to seek the best in God and he will not deny you that has a humble and meek spirit.
Matthew 7:7
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
